Walked in with my wife, and Michael (young man of maybe 23), Immediately asked if he could help us. I asked about Peacock Bass…when, where, how, etc. We are from out of state.
He spent at least 30 minutes with us explaining EVERYTHING. He even wrote down some suggested places to fish.
Being a business owner myself, I’ve seen nothing but self absorbed and entitled young people lately. But Michael has restored my faith in today’s youth.
Thank you. I will be back.

I would like to start this review by saying I am more than impressed with T&R tackle. I took my Van Staal VSB50X2 in because of a grinding in it. The guys at T&R were extremely knowledgeable and within seconds of testing the reel out, they knew exactly what the problem was. They worked on the reel and discovered a new issue and told me on the phone “I want this reel to be as close to perfect as possible before it leaves here.” They very clearly worked very hard to make the reel as good as new and exactly the way it was originally meant to be. I could not be happier with T&R tackle and I will definitely be back.

I went into T&R Tackle today and was greeted by Jeff and his wonderful associate. I needed help choosing hooks, weights, and bait, and Jeff was more than wonderful in assisting me. T&R has great quality products at a fantastic price point. They really helped my have a great day fishing with my young family. Thanks Jeff and associate!!!!! You guys rock!!!!!

Family friendly place. They don't carry live bait. However the bait they do carry is good quality. Staff is knowledgeable and they repair rods and reels in a timely fashion. They are well versed on where to fish in the Ft Lauderdale area.

Nice little shop with friendly knowledgeable staff. Talked to Jeff for a while and he hooked me up with some rigs and tips. Ended up working out well and caught a good amount of fish from surf. Good prices and great service. Check it out if you're in the area.
