Be careful choosing to bank here nothing but issues for the past 5 years. Don’t expect to ever do autopay since Canvas will wait up to 10 days before releasing verified funds from checking. Lastly do not I repeat do not try to deposit a check unless u want to wait 11 days before they release the hold nobody can explain why it’s even on there. And forget cashing a check. If you want zero control of your own money choose to bank with Canvas.

Alonzo A in Denver was such an excellent help and so very kind in assisting me with an issue today, he even called me back after I was quoted a 21 minute wait from the automated system. There are few souls like him in the work today and we need more! Thank you Alonzo for such a great experience.

Over a year ago, I requested a replacement check for money owed to me from closing out a loan. I went to to Canvas and they took my name and number and said someone would call. After a few days, I called and they said that I needed to wait 90 days. I went back after 90 days and they said that they were working on it. I didn't hear back so I called again, they said that the person who I needed to speak with was in a meeting. Over the next few months, I kept calling to no avail. Today, over a year later, someone from Canvas left a message on my phone saying that the funds are no longer available and to call if I had any questions. They didn't leave their name or phone number. The customer service sucks. I wish I could rate you lower.

Best experience ever. Applied for HELOC on Friday over the phone, and closed 1 week later! Shopped around different banks and by far this was the best. 50% off the interest rate for a year, no closing cost. Nicole, Anna, and Moriah, were all very efficient, friendly and professional. Very happy customer.

Negative stars are too high for this joke … I had a truck loan and payments were made thru chase bill pay. They don’t check the mailbox where three payments sat they screwed up my credit where I couldn’t refi my house costing me 20k via the refi…All banks are bad these people are ignorant!!!

Predatory Loan rates
Terrible customer service where they pass your from person to person making you re explain every time. When I spoke to a woman on the phone she told me I need to ask the right questions… then when I did she got nervous and said sir I need to put you on hold and make sure I’m giving you the right information because she in fact didn’t know… after just boasting about being so knowledgeable on the matter.
Today April 3rd 2024 I was charged twice for insufficient funds when there was enough to cover the transaction yet another predatory act as in there policy they say they can do this to you as many time as they want without you knowing or having any say in the matter as they will like and make up a reason why it’s your fault not the bank.

Pretty sure children operate this branch. Recommend Bellco or Security Service CU over Canvas any day of the week. Mobile banking app is terrible at best. How many 1 star reviews do you need to convince you not to put your financial trust here?

Really weird seeing so many one star reviews by people. I have had a great experience with Canvas and they have continued to get better and add more services including zelle recently. While their zelle transfers take 30 seconds more than the bank I switched from it is still just as reliable. Thank you Canvas and know that most people giving one star are those people that pride themselves on posting negative reviews to make themselves feel better about their own life. You guys are great and I am more than happy to be a customer!
