Review really depends on who serves you (or in terms of the dark haired woman with glasses- can't be bothered to serve you!). The other lady is a delight, nothing too much trouble and always smiles, despite being left on her own to serve -five stars if you were to rate just her service. Whereas, dark haired woman is just plain rude, she's closed her till just to tidy up her space despite leaving a queue for the other lady, then opens her till when she spots a customer she knows. Been in a few times, and this happens regularly so not a one-off!

Busy little post office, staff seem to manage well, usually go to lady with darker hair for specialist information. Really helpful branch.

The new change of staff has definitely improved the overall view of the post office for me. Beforehand the staff were insulting and even asking a specific question felt like you were putting them out of their way to do it. Whereas the new staff are a delight, happy to help and even have a laugh with. They still seem to want to help people rather than belittle them. Baring there only being two on, sometimes one during busy times, the queue quickly goes down.

Absolutely horrendous! Not customer friendly at all, you say hi with a smile and they just look the other way. They will never use courteous words, nothing like please or cheers in their vocabulary. I would have rather prefer to use machines for the required service (if available)rather than passing through those ladies. Absolutely horrendous customer service!

Come here twice a week at best and wouldnt go anywhere else. Absolutely lovely staff and always up for a friendly chat. Its clean, its friendly and its service is top drawer!

It can get busy around lunch time and opening but it's a post office what do some people expect? 🙂 guess it's just the luck of the draw really. Any other time though it's pretty quick service!

Also parking is normally okay for Hessle Road, I have had the odd occasion where I have to park my car down a side street but I have legs so I'm not going to cry about walking less than a minute to a post office.

All round great place and great staff, no bad reviews for me!

This post office closes early maybe 1pm or 2pm could possibly on occasion be 3pm.went on Saturday 10am it was closed found many older people turning up the same time who could not get their gas.If the post office opening times were made clear this would help. If we were to run our business like this it would end up permanently closed.we are lucky enough to have a car to enable us to travel further afield.Many are not so lucky especially our older generation.

I recently sent two boxes of sentimental items to a family member following a bereavement. The two staff members were obnoxious and rude, encouraging other customers to make comments about how poorly Parcelforce would treat the boxes. Aggressive, unprofessional and not the kind of service or conduct one would expect from the Post Office.
