I had emailed the Credit Union to get some more information, and Madison was very nice and helpful in our communications. When it was time to upgrade my vehicle, I stopped by and walked out pre-approved with a Smart Check in less than 45 minutes. Holly was also very helpful and made the whole process very clear! Not to mention that they have some of the best rates.

CBFCU is evidence of why you should always bank local! I learned so much about the CU from Madi and shortly later I opened my accounts with the help of Holly & Tammy at the Blue Ridge branch. Both were absolutely amazing, so kind, and very accommodating. The CU has really competitive rates, great customer service, a user friendly app that makes banking super easy. The most important factor to me was the community focus and how intentional the CU is with investing & engaging with the community, it’s obvious that’s their mission and each of their employees display that very well.

I have been banking with the credit union for years and have never had a bad experience! Everyone is always so helpful. Madison never fails to go above and beyond to give the best customer service and help she can. She’s such a welcoming face to see and is so sweet! She is also very personable. I learned about Copper Basic FCU through meeting Madison at local chamber events. She is always so kind and friendly. When I shared that I wanted to open a bank account locally, she connected me to the right people. With my busy schedule I had no time to visit the branch. They opened my account for me completely virtually. Everyone is so helpful there. The service is very personal and I just love the way the bank and all of its associates give back to the community. I'm very unhappy with the fact that the ATM has been down for so long. It's very inconvenient going somewhere else for cash and then getting a refund on charges. Also the service at the window has gotten very slow. Wait times have been 5-15 minutes for a simple deposit in the last month or so.
