Best car purchasing experience I’ve had in a while! Dealt with Maria Ortiz and sales manager Eric. Maria was very responsive and professional getting the deal worked out and Eric was great to chat with to finalize things. The car was clean and had plenty of gas for a test drive…. This is not common, unfortunately.

Great facility and large used car lot. I look forward to dealing with them again

Purchased a brand new Hummer from this dealership. First, they had a third party person/company drive the car all the way to me and added 700 miles on the speedometer. On top of that, they delivered the car with 0 battery left, and they used the reserve battery power as well, so it was completely dead. I had to get the Hummer towed to a charging station before I even got to drive it. Fast forward, in less than a couple of months the entire battery needed replaced. I messaged the dealership about this issue, and the manager just said “take it to a dealership to replace it,” and that’s all I got from them. It also took 2-3 temp tags and over 90 days to get my actual tag and license plate delivered to me. Highly recommend to steer clear of here if you can. The only person who was helpful at all in this entire dealership was Jamie.

Definitely questioning the honesty of some employees since purchasing a used car from this dealership. Also communication before and during purchasing of the vehicle was good, but after the purchase was done and we needed to get back into contact with them, we were never able to get back in touch with our sales rep. A few days after purchasing our used car from this dealership the check engine light came on and a huge repair was needed. I definitely understood that this was an as is purchase as we purchased an older used vehicle (2010) with 115,000 miles. I was just hoping to contact our sales rep and see if there's anything that this dealership ever does for customers who purchase a car and then have a huge repair days after the purchase. I kind of knew that they would probably not offer any type of solution to the issue that was present, but I guess I was anticipating a lot friendlier interaction with this dealership after purchasing a car from them. I understood that we did not purchase a brand new car and did not spend a great deal of money but I was hoping to be treated as any other customer. It has definitely made me believe that they are out to get the sale and then don't care about you as a customer after the sale. After learning of a huge repair on this newly purchased vehicle we called, texted, facebook messaged (this vehicle was found through a Facebook Marketplace ad that the dealership posted) our sales representative and never got a response. After multiple attempts of trying to reach our sales representative I was able to talk to someone higher up from the dealership. While talking to this person I asked if there's anything this dealership ever does in situations such as this. He let me know that he was not able to make these types of decisions and that the person who was higher up than him was in Mexico and would be back the next day after 4:00 p.m. He did let me know that this sale was an as-is sale but that he would pass this situation on to someone higher up then him to see if there was anything that they could do. I was not expecting much but thought it was worth a try. Before hanging up I was told that this person who was able to make this type of decision would be in contact with me between 4pm and 7pm the next day and if it wasn’t the next day it would be the following day by mid morning at the latest. After mid morning had passed and I had not received a call, I contacted the dealership again. I was able to talk to the same guy that had told me when I would be receiving the phone call from someone higher up than him. To say I felt like a valued customer while talking to him was the furthest thing from what I felt. He began the conversation by asking if I wanted something emailed to me. When questioning him multiple times about the other person that was going to be contacting me, and asking why I never heard from him, he gave me no response. I specifically asked if someone else was really ever going to call and got no answer from him. The honesty of this employee as well as this company is definitely in question for me. I felt like he very much lied to me and almost found it comical that was asking if there was anything they did to help customers in our situation. I will never be back to this place of business and will definitely not recommend them to anyone. Never hearing back from our sale rep after multiple attempts also left a sour taste in my mouth about this business.

My daughter and I went here to get her a vehicle. The salesman sold us a 2017 Equinox said it just came in from a trade. Apparently I paid extra for GAP insurance for Tires 😐 40 days after buying the Equinox, have only driven it a couple hundred miles it started acting up. I schedule an oil change and for it to be looked over. They refused the work. I took it to another mechanic to get it checked out, there's gas in the oil, timing chain an fuel injectors are shot. I sent an email to a Manager to get this mess fixed and so far no reply. I will run thru the chain till this is resolved.

I recently visited Betten Baker for the dreaded check engine light and had an outstanding experience. Emily is awesome. She’s friendly and always upbeat. My truck issues were explained clearly. The diesel tech they have goes the extra mile (no pun intended) to get down to the real problem and its solution.

I highly recommend Betten Baker their professionalism and excellent customer service (aka the Emily factor). The waiting area there is clean and comfortable AND dog friendly. I'll continue to return for future needs!

I am now 3 for 3 on great experiences at Baker in Hudsonville! Emily has gone above and beyond to be helpful with any inquiries I've had. Mercedes had assisted with my first two oil changes and the inspection on my 2021 GMC Sierra, it was a breeze on my end. Emily helped on this most recent trip with what exactly was covered under my certified pre-owned warranty as well as providing me more info on an extended warranty that I had purchased with the vehicle. I felt like she was in the "ring" for me and getting me what I deserved per my warranty. I didn't feel like I was deprived to save the dealership a couple bucks, and that's huge.

They also have a kick-ass coffee machine inside that will make like 12 different types of coffee/latte/espresso at the press of a button. Now, I'm looking for a reason to go back to get another cup!!!

All in all, when you have to take your vehicle to the dealer, you won't do better than Baker in Hudsonville
