As a new home owner with fair credit and a steady income, I expected to be treated fairly by my lender. Cascade pre-approved me for 220k but came back and countered for 130k after paperwork got started on my dream home. We went back and forth about why they did this. I had to give them more and more personal information than I wanted to give and get a co-signer involved. They put my co-signer through the wringer and ended up coming back wanting another co-borrower. I felt dehumanized and like a number not a person at all. In the end, I lost my dream home and had to go to a new lender. The new lender, by the way, gave me 150k on my own with no-cosigners.
If customer service matters to you, don't use Cascade. They don't care about you and won't work hard to make you happy.

Cascade loans staff is great for payments and everything else but if you have to deal with a home insurance claim good luck. I have damage from a storm in May and still struggling to find a contractor due to them being so difficult to work with. I have a water damage from Aug that is going to require almost a full bathroom and kitchen remodel plus I have to get my installation back in and they want me to drive multiple time to get material bids and then I have to get an individual contractor bid for each repair as I can't find a general contractor who will give me a quote due to having to hire a public adjuster. Now we are going into winter and I am at risk of frozen pipes due to additional issues with insurance. Like I said they are great until there is damage due to a storm and accident and insurance had to get involved then it is awful to work with Cascade insurance team. I also don't have the fund to pay out of pocket either. If I didn't have suck a good interest rate I would refinance through another mortgage company

I got hit by hurricane Helene so I called them and got put into a forbearance plan while I caught up. Since then they have called me multiple times a day and are now reporting me late on my credit report. They have been anything but helpful.. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

Wonderful place to secure a manufactured home loan. From initial contact to approval through underwriting and closing these folks have perfected the lending process. Communication was outstanding and response time was quick and to the point and I was able to navigate the whole process from my phone! Will definitely recommend and utilize myself if ever going through the experience again. FIVE STARS

Recently closed on our loan and everyone who has touched it so far has been fantastic; specifically Jason Thompson (originator) and Aaron Martinez (processor). All my emails had a response within hours and I never had an issue reaching them by phone. Blown away by their patience, speed (during the approval process and in getting the loan to closing), and overall level of service. The home manufacturer was also impressed!

Changed my rating do to poor service and communication after we closed had issues with contractor getting permits and it's been 10 months. Wanted to default the contact and they said it was my fault and I was responsible for permits coming up on a year and still haven't had my home started.... update 4-1-24 still in the same boat no home nowhere close to having it started been over a year now.
