My debit card was recently victim to fraud & I decided to go into the Minnetonka branch to have a new one printed versus wait for the mail. I’d never been there before & was greeted by Nick and assisted right away. I mentioned to Nick that I’ve been a member of CCCU since I was 8 years old and loved getting piggy banks for my birthday every year at the Maplewood branch.

Nick was efficient at getting me my card and so so nice. As I was leaving he gave me a piggy bank for “nostalgia” sake, and I literally almost teared up with how nice of a gesture it was. I love this credit union & have been blessed to be a member for almost 20 years!

I would advise against opening a loan with this credit union. I can’t speak to their personal banking experience, but my loan and financing experience with City and County has been terrible. Unlike other financial institutions, you can't easily set up autopay through an app or online. Instead, you have to fill out an ACH form and wait. When refinancing with another lender, they don't notify you that you need to cancel ACH payments and fill out another form. Any potential savings from choosing City & County over a larger financial institution aren’t worth the hassle caused by their outdated processes.

Teller at drive through gave me a sucker and it was mystery flavor and it was my favorite flavor (root beer)….. HOW DID THEY KNOW? That’s amazing customer service!

Edit: everything about their online experience is utmost trash. I can't recommend this bank for any reason because of this.

I had a fantastic experience with Jamie setting up an auto loan. But the online services here just don't work. The team worked hard to help me, for which I'm thankful. But if you enjoy banking online, this is not the place for you.

Professional, yet friendly, she guided me thru the process exceeding my expectations and delivering quality service in a matter that brings my wife and I back time and time again. I’m incredibly disappointed in CCCU. I have been a loyal customer for 6+ years and even refinanced 2 loans with them. However, they recently ended my automatic payments to my car loan and did not notify me. This lead to missed payments which they also did not properly notify me of and resulted in a deduction of 87 points from my credit score. There was never an indication in the mobile app, online profile, or email that I missed a payment. They were unwilling to help me, even though this entire situation was preventable with proper communication. Their systems are outdated and their customer service is terrible. I will no longer do business here.
