They took $225 from me, leading me on telling me that my (actual) collections, (which was $83) was what I was paying. I called the manager and they "investigated" it and said that I agreed, knowing that it wasn't paying off my collection. That it incorrect. So then after saying they would give me 2 weeks to pay $120, she, her name was Daniella, black woman, very "nice" ... took it out an hour and a half later. Then a couple days after that, another part of their branch pulled even more money, and said I agreed to get set up for an ADDITIONAL monthly payment. I can't get that money back. I had to report my card stolen, and block them all.
Also, they told me more than once, that I would be receiving a receipt via Email ... it's been 1 month and I have never gotten anything from them.

This is a scam. The letter said that I owed QVC money. My balance is $0. It wasn’t even the same amount number. I called QVC and they don’t that account number listed. I went to my credit karma link and it’s not listed.
Please!!!! Especially the elderly DO NOT give the money or personal information such as social security numbers. Even if they are professional they only ask for last 4 Digits.

Credit Control should have some respect for the elder population AND stop trying to collect debt from an 86 year old. The reason the orginal debt was not paid because living on less than $1000 a month of social security and paying for groceries, medical expenses, etc and with this heat trying to keep cool to keep from having a heat stroke comes with an out of this world electric bill. Anyone over a particular age/close to a century should be release from Credit Control llc /debt collection.

Anyone who received their call, PLEASE confirm with the company they mentioned first! Do not make a payment over the phone directly at the very beginning!

They called me claiming that I owed money to Sentera, but due to having visited several different Sentera offices in town, I was unsure which one they were referring to. The representative I spoke with refused to provide any additional information, only insisting that I pay over the phone. I certainly won't pay them over the phone. How do I know if this is not a scam? I don't know this company and even now I still think it is a scam!

I contacted Sentera directly to clarify the situation, and after checking my account for all the Sentera offices I had visited, they confirmed that I had no outstanding balance. In fact, my last bill was paid approximately two months ago.

Also, the representative was soooo rude. It's not only distressing to be wrongly pursued for a debt I didn't owe, but the unprofessional and impolite behavior of the representative from this debt collection agency made the experience even more frustrating.

I am in the process of hiring a lawyer and taking these people to court . They keep reporting false information on my credit I don’t even know who they are they claim it is from a “ Medical debit “ I own Sentera Hospital which is incorrect! I submitted a complaint with CFPB with a fraud report and they are still refusing to remove it from my credit . The collection they keep reporting is NOT mine as I have insurance and my health insurance covers everything, second I have not lived in the state of Virginia for the past 5-6 years !! As mentioned my whole identity was stolen I sent proof and they refused to deleted it ! I have the money to pay for the debit which is $3,000 and something but I refused to pay for something that isn’t mine !! I my money will go to a lawyer , this people are heartless and rude !! I don’t know what else they want from me !! I submitted a fraud police report and nothing has been remove !! See you in court !!!!

Awful, rude, and unprofessional. I had a $55 collection show up on my credit report for a frontier balance from years ago that I was not aware existed. I called this company, made the payment, struggled through sharing my email address with a woman named Amy who kept speaking over me and could not comprehend the email address. Not surprisingly, I never received the notice of payment to send to the credit bureau. I called back a couple of days later after seeing the payment withdraw from my bank account and got Amy again. She was totally rude and acted like she couldn’t be bothered, and tried to pull this up under my first name and then my last name and tells me she can’t find it. She’s acting as if she can’t be bothered with it and I’m not letting her off the hook and I am giving her the address she said the account was from. Finally she asks for my social which she could have just done to begin with. She finds it and tells me the letter was emailed. I’m explaining I didn’t get the letter which is why I’m calling. She said I’d receive an email and I didn’t and I need the letter because I want this off my credit report and she tells me I told her I was going to deal with the credit bureaus myself. I explained again I need the letter to do that and she says she can’t email it to me. She tells me she can mail it. Clearly, I’m not wanting to wait for that and continue to request the information by email which I was told I’d receive. She just refuses and says I’ll get the letter in the mail and the credit bureaus will call and ask if they can remove it when they get the letter from me and she will tell them no. I said excuse me, why would you tell them no? And she said that’s the policy. So for a $55 frontier oversight this awful company and wickedly rude woman desires to keep a derogatory remark on someone’s credit after they’ve paid a low balance for a final cable bill they didn’t know existed. This is horrible and should not even be legal. Then the woman proceeds to hang the phone up on me! Amy should be fired and this collection agency should be shut down.

This company is a straight up scam. I called the original provider, multiple times and they have told me my balance has been paid in full for years. This company still trying to collect on literally nothing. There is nothing to collect on, the claim has been paid. I talked to them about this multiple times but they want money, but for what? The original provider was paid, so are they just going to pocket this money for themselves? Seems likely since I talked to provider multiple times about this and are unaware. Pretty obvious scam company playing under the guise of a credit collector. They should be investigated for fraud.
