Just got a notification from credit karma. They fraudulently put derogatory report on my credit. And I've never heard of them. Nor have I applied for any new credit cards or lines of credit. Horrible and very unjustly. Scammers are should be punished by the justice system harshly.

Just like the rest of the reviews I’m not too different. Logged into credit karma as to I’m trying to buy a house and saw I have a mark from “credit management lp” and “CBE group” after getting my phone blown up by the CBE group and going through the same thing (the lady asking for social, addresses and DOB 1 sec into a phone call).. I refused obviously as to I don’t even know who you are or why your calling. They wanted me to verify my info before they verified who they even were. So I hung up and we will never know what they wanted.

So before calling credit management lp I read the reviews and see it’s the same thing and not too different from CBE Group. At this point I’m going to assume my data was compromised somewhere and the bad guys have gotten it. Never once have I heard of these 2 companies and never once have I ever done business with them or owed them any money so I will be disputing them moving forward. Good luck to anyone else that finds themselves in the reviews ‍♂️

SCAM!!! Found a derogatory mark on my credit from them, never heard of them or done business with them. Called to try and get information on what or how I owe them money. Within the first 2 minutes of the phone call I was asked for my social security number. I asked them if they bought debt but they would not say. DO NOT PAY THIS COMPANY. DISPUTE FIRST!!!

Talking to these customer service representatives is a joke. I’ve agreed to settle my debt today, before paying I asked the representative I need something in writing that I’m settling my debt.

This representative says “this company doesn’t do that” then said after the payment is made then they will send me something. I said I will be glad to stay on the phone until something is in writing about the agreement. I’m not giving ya a dime until something is in writing.

Long story short I’m waiting on a “supervisor” to call me back. If someone is wanting to settle their debt why can’t this company send an email with the agreement in writing.

I had some debt that showed up on my credit report from an old internet provider I had. Apparently, it had been sold to these guys. They were very helpful when I called to pay, they also gave me a 30% discount when I paid it off. It's definitely a fair collection agency.

I worked here for almost 2 years. I wouldn’t say they are a scam but I will say they don’t care about their employees so they definitely don’t care about the customers. Sad part is my boss portrayed like he cared about his team when he was the main one who didn’t. I can really name the people who sinking the ship and just know it’s the management and upper management. I’m so glad I left, best thing I ever did. Wish I didn’t have to give them any stars to do a review.

This company confused me with someone else with similar name and reported a collection account to Equifax under my name. I have contacted Credit Management LP and spoken to several reps regarding the issue. Not one of the reps could locate any account reported to Equifax as delinquent under my social security#. Per Credit Management I have to take it up with Equifax. This was very infuriating as Credit Management is the one who reported the collection to Equifax. How in the world is a company allowed to report someone to the Credit Bureau without going through the proper verification procedures regarding a debts ownership. Trying to get Credit Management dispute documents via email of fax is non existent as they only allow correspondence via postal mail, this is horrible!! I have filed a dispute with Equifax regarding this collection, the FTC and my local police department. This company shouldn't even be allowed to conduct business as they are not following the specific legal obligations set forth in the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
