Got a very similar letter to the other chap who was sent a letter regarding the Harvey water softeners trail. In my case the water Softeners was installed in NOV 2019 and removed in JAN 2020. The only reason it was removed was because it actually damaged my flooring in my new house, damaged my kitchen and damaged my dinning table so I immediately told Harvey to remove it as it was causing more harm than good. Even though I paid everything I received a letter in the post saying I "owe them £2 grand" on the 4th of OCT 2024 which seems very very odd considering its been over 4 years since I had it and its only now they are sending me a letter regarding "debt"

Still got all the messages and pictures of the damage so I figured this was some sort of scam. I have got in touch with Harvey to double check and everything is fine on my end. I don't owe anything and even the customer support was telling me thats just stupid and ridiculous.

Very bad and stupid company. How are you guys gonna scam people in this climate we are living in. I highly suggest people GOOGLE the debt company before making any payments to see what other people are saying and not pay them first. I don't know why companies like this exist and how they can get anyway with scamming good people. The GOV should do something about it.

I have already filed and reported this company to the fraud prevention act and police so hopefully other people do not get scammed in paying and I hope they get shut down asap so other vulnerable people do not get scammed out of their hard earned money.

For you guys, I'm glad I did my research before hand. I have no issues if you take me to court for the "unpaid debt". The company itself Harvey told me I have cleared all my funds and I also have evidence to prove that the water softener damaged my property so in this case I should be filing a claim for damages to my property. Don't try scam me or others, have some values and if you need money so badly to the point where you are creating fake companies and scamming people, just claim benefits mate.
Don't do this idiotic behaviour.

I had a free trial with Harvey water softeners 2 years ago. I didn’t keep the softener, they removed it and confirmed I didn’t owe them anything. Out of the blue I get a letter from credit style saying I owed Harvey water £1399.27. It took an hour to get through to harvey water, they confirmed that a number of people were ACCIDENTALLY referred to the debt collection agency and this was a mistake. MISTAKES LIKE THIS ARE INEXCUSABLE!

Don't pay any bills. When you get a message that says urgently contact them using the reference, don't do it. They will ask for your address if you do and then send letters to your house. They are trying to take advantage of you and will keep bothering you until you pay.

Edit: it's been 6 months since I wrote this review and they haven't contacted since then as I haven't contacted them when they send that sketchy message. Clearly, it shows that all of this is a trap to get you to give them information. A lot of people has unfortunately fallen for this and has given them their address which is how they manage to send letters and blackmail

Keep calling me for an alleged debt to Valda Energy, another scam company. They can't supply any evidence of alleged debt. Just ignore these scammers. Tin pot unlawful debt collectors.

They bombard you with letters every month.
After a year, they send the claim to court.
There's no point in contacting them as they are only interested if you are going to pay.
That's if they answer the phone.
They don't want to know if you are contesting their claim.
Fill out the form to the court and contest it then. At least then, you will be able to tell your side of the story.
They even might drop the case.
Good luck, everyone. I feel your pain.

Paid off a CCJ and they confirmed it had been paid off. Failed to notify the courts. Impossible to contact.

Not been so angry in a while! Very poor service from this company. Received a letter yesterday and Called yesterday straight away. My supplier had an issue with their system which had put me overdue on account but had no contact or invoice. This company took control of the “debt”. Threatening letter, called and got an automated wait of 10+ mins - left a message- called back over 24 hours later- not even greeted by a rude man called Paul - huffed at me as asking me for the reference number- i was trying to say i would find it - he made a fed up noise and hung up. So rude and have tried to contact. Do not use this company for your debt collections as just shocking service to your clients.
