Got a loan for my M5 Competition first, decided to bring my C8 and Rubicon over once I sign for my last 2 cars I got a call there was a problem with my tittle for my M5 when to DMV got it fix, then they cancel my C8 and Rubicon loans. Perfect credit and also have my business account there that runs plenty of money. Save your self the hoops and go with America First.

I’ve been a member of Cyprus for years and had my car loan set on autopay.

Unfortunately, I recently learned (the hard way) that autopay apparently expires. This caused my payment to be 23 days late, which I only realized when the situation escalated in a completely unprofessional way.

Without notifying me in advance that my autopay was expiring or that my payment was overdue, they sent my account to their collections department.

Today, within just minutes of contacting me, they also reached out to my professional references (listed from when I originally applied for the loan).

This morning at 8:31 AM I received a call followed by a text at 8:32 AM.

By 8:33 AM, they contacted my first reference and a minute later they contacted my second reference.

Both of these individuals are professional colleagues. The credit union called them about my three-week late payment—an issue caused by their autopay system expiring without warning.

Instead of giving me even 5 minutes and a chance to understand and resolve the issue, they opted to embarrass me in front of my colleagues. If they had simply reviewed my account, they would have seen the missed payment was due to autopay expiring, not negligence or a lack of my intent to pay.

Clearly Cyprus has a total disregard for customer respect and professionalism. I caution anyone considering Cyprus for a loan to think twice.

I have been a member of Cyprus Credit Union for over 20 years, and this was my first time in the "Jordan Landing" branch. The teller was friendly, and very helpful, and I will continue to do my banking at this branch in the future...Thank You!

I initially worked with Jake, a Lending Consultant, who was very communicative over the phone. However, the situation soon deteriorated as he stopped providing updates. He frequently mentioned that his underwriters would get back to him by the end of the day, but I wouldn't hear from him for 2-3 days. I had to proactively reach out multiple times to receive any response. Our last communication was when he emailed me at 1:23 PM; I promptly replied at 1:24 PM and have not heard from him since.

In my opinion, to retain customers, your representatives should be more customer-friendly regardless of workload. CX Training needed

UPDATE

Reached out their staff email and have not heard a response back. Further concluding their customer service needs CX Training. HORRIBLE

Mediocre services at the very end of loan approval. Wasted my friends time over a tittle issue that wasn't even his fault.

Is there ever a live teller? Your new locations are not made for the future!
It takes forever to see a bank teller! Why is it so hard to get money?

We came here to finalize an auto loan. At arrival we were greeted by Ricky who was kinda shy and quiet, but nice. We walked in an asked if our loan officer was here so we could get this done. They told us to sign in and wait. It was kinda rude, but we complied and waited. The branch manager, Scott L. Had us go into his office where he asked why we were here. As we explained he was really rude, and sort of brushed off our seriousness. Idk if he just judged us by our looks, we are young, or if he was just having a bad morning. He kept saying, that our loan officer needed more "stuff" after we've already supplied all the documents he asked for. So he just didn't take the time to ask us the details and assumed. We talked to our loan officer on the phone and continued to do what he instructed, etc. After all was done, we set up the appointment with our loan officer for 1:15 pm. And since we had been there since they opened at 9AM. We were sitting and waiting in the lobby when we decided, even though we're early. Let's sign in. Scott L. Was at the receptionist desk and told us "I don't have anyone available so you'll have to wait." Meanwhile, we overhear tellers and other employees chatting amongst themselves about random, non work related stuff. But we didn't expect anyone to stop what they're doing to finish up with us RiGHT NOW. We just wanted to sign in so that when our app comes up, they'll know we are here. We had been there all day already. So rebelliously, we just walked in, and checked into the little podium thing that was there. How hard was that! All he had to do was tell us to use the podium to check in. Erinn finally called us and we thought the frustration was over, as we sat down. She gets a call, and tells us that Scott is doing the paperwork and directed us back to the lobby to wait for him...REALLY!? Smh.

We finally got called into his office 10 minutes AFTER our appointment. (10 minutes is a long time when you've been sitting in the lobby for 4 hours.) He was just rude, impersonal, had difficulty "printing papers out" and just seemed to drag things out purposefully to frustrate us more. He kept brushing off our concerns and putting blame on others.

In the end, it all worked out and we were taken care of. But geeze, what a process.

I actually liked Cyprus before I ever had to walk into a physical branch. After this experience, I'll avoid it. Overall, It was just a completely unpleasant experience other than Ricky and the Teller we talked to for a min, I'll go to America First next time simply to avoid this sort of frustration.
