Después de haber buscado el carro que yo quería en muchos otros sitios con diferentes precios,llegue a D&D y encontré realmente el carro y precio perfecto para mi! My wife and I accompanied our friend to look at a red convertible VW Beetle for her today. Even though we weren’t the ones purchasing the vehicle, I had to write a review about what a fantastic experience it was. When our friend first called on the vehicle, the salesperson said he would hold it for her to look at since she was the first to call on it. Sure enough, he did, even though other potential buyers called as we made the nearly one hour drive to north county. My wife and her friend took it on a test drive while I stayed behind and waited. Turned out that the very nice mechanic who was working under the hood of car out front and stopped to offer me some water after a few minutes of waiting was actually the owner the place. While filling out the paperwork to close the deal, he went the extra mile to check if she had any unused plates that are still active, to save her a couple hundred bucks. Plus they’re taking care of all the things our friend and my wife, who works at an Asian import repair shop, pointed out after the test drive. We were in an out in less than an hour and the owner even suggested a terrific little Italian restaurant just down the road for lunch. We would highly recommend D&D if you’re in the market for a German vehicle.

I have had the worst experience with D & D used cars. Within the first 25 minutes of me driving home after buying the car the engine light came on. Terry said everything was fine and things needed to be recalibrated in the system and his guy in St. Pete could “turn off” the engine light. To this day he’s never mentioned the guy again, and the check engine light never went away. Within the first week of having the car there was a coolant issue. I live in Tampa an hour away from new port richey, so having to drive all the way back up there for an issue WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK was huge inconvenience. They also had to fix an airbag sensor prior to me buying the car (keep this in mind). For the entire first month of me having the car I drove an hour to and from New Port Richey EVERY WEEK about the same issue. Mind you, this was not the only present issue at this point. The check engine light still came on, the coolant would mysteriously be gone almost everytime I drove, and other lights and error messages would come on the dash. INCLUDING THE AIRBAG SENSOR. So at this point I’m realizing it has to be a sensor issue, which I told them. I asked about the error messages I was told it was connected to the coolant issue. Everytime it was idk, it’s not a leak, and it’s not the water pump, lo and behold WEEKS later it was a water pump leak. Finally when we thought the issue was fixed it arised again almost two weeks later with all the same error messages continuously coming up. At this point it was around the time of the hurricane and apparently the shop was too bombarded with the hurricane and other people to help me YET THIS WAS GOING ON PRIOR to the hurricane. I called they asked for some time to get things in order. I called back 2 weeks later to be told “they can’t book anybody for a month”. I call back, now a month later, because now my car won’t even start and I got it looked at by a trusted mechanic who said they should’ve never sold it to me in the condition it’s in in the first place. Now it’s we can’t do anything because we’re booked til January when I BROUGHT ALL THIS UP BEFORE THE HURRICANE. All they did was make it look good to sell. When I called to possibly discuss other options, they offered ZERO help and THEY HUNG UP. After all I’ve been through within these THREE MONTHS of the having the car you’d think they’d be more willing to pinpoint the problem and fixing it because it was clearly something wrong prior to me purchasing the car. I’m honestly disappointed more than anything. I’m mad at myself for even trusting them and you shouldn’t either since this is how they treat they’re costumers.

I know one can’t expect much buying a used 2013 vehicle. However, I was not expecting the day after I purchased to have to do an oil change, and sink some money into car. Owner was nice, to order a part he knew the car was going to need and wiper blades.. but that’s about all that has happened at this time. He stated, I could come in today and parts would be there, but when called was given different times, and no call back.
There are worse places out there, I’m sure. If purchasing make sure you look over every single detail.. I have spent 500.00, literally the next day after purchasing car for my daughter.

I got my Volkswagen Passat here and I’m so happy with my purchase they take such good care of you. Troy helped me pick out my car showed me how it worked. He was awesome and very knowledgeable. The owner is also a really nice man. They really care about you and your needs so if you’re looking for a used car, this is the place to be.
