I came across this credit union online as I was searching for credit unions in my area. I was so unbelievably impressed with every aspect of my experience with them. Jill and Natalie went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me with my auto loan. As a young woman who has never taken out a loan before - Jill helped me every step of the way. The customer service was just absolutely phenomenal. She even continued to file my paperwork in order to get my loan done as soon as possible while she was working at the teller booth due to short staffing. Not only was the customer service outstanding but the rates could not be beat. They were running a special to receive a whole percentage lower interest rate and not have to make your first payment for 90 days! I will recommend them again and again to any and everyone I meet. Thank you so much Emerald Credit Union. ♥️

She explained everything in detail as she was opening up my new account.. A special thank you to Jill Kiggins for making my auto loan process at Emerald Credit Loan seem so effortless. After being in an accident (hit a deer) which totaled my car, suffering a concussion, having to work in another state all the while living in another state, you can imagine how difficult this all could have been to get a loan and purchase a car all while working 7 days a week 10-14 hours a day. This could have been a total nightmare however, Jill worked with me and walked me through the entire process, supporting me the entire way to get my loan which secured me my new vehicle. Words cannot say enough how appreciative I am to Jill and Emerald Credit Union. I have been a member for many years and have always gotten my auto loans when needed through Emerald, they have never disappointed me.

I went through Patricia Threatt to get a personal loan for school and she was very helpful during the whole process! I definitely recommend seeing her if you need any help with any loans, because I know I definitely will be!

If you're black don't even waste your time. The experience I endured is crazy. It's okay if you just open an account and let them use your money to make money but as soon as you ask for a loan or etc is when you will realize how racists they are. I qualified for a personal loan and they tried to give me an extension of credit lol then had to go through upper management to get half of wat I asked for. Three years later lose a job then find one and tell them you're currently working on paying the loan and get paid the same week they charge off your loan lol smh talking bout they start charging off at 90 days but key word was *START. THATS HOW THEY GET AWAY WITH DISCRIMINATION BC ALL THEIR *OTHER MEMBERS NOT ONLY GETTING 90 DAYS BEFORE CHARGE OFF. Usually no one writes off charge offs till 120 days but when your black as soon as 90th day hit they can't wait. you don't get the same treatment as the others. You have to be a perfect little angel . There's no explanations, ifs, or buts. Also closed my account which currently have over $400 that was going towards my loan. Trust me one called the cops on me before because they not trained properly to handle situations just call the cops lol words from upper management. This branch is horrible with horrible attitudes esp if your black expecting to do anything more than open up a damn account to make deposits smh sad. Open them books u will see how any black people got the end of the stick smh
