I just had the most helpful experience with Lauren at Mt. Pleasant Agency. She got on a 3 way call with my mortgage company insurance dept and my self. My mortgage payment increased 300 dollars month. I started investigating with Lauren's aid. When the mortgage company didn't get all the correct documents from buying my mortgage they thought I haven't carried house insurance for a period of time. They "bought some upon my behalf." Lauren explained I was fully insured the whole time I have owned my house. She sent over the documents needed while on the phone with the mortgage company. And she explained Mt. Pleasant Agency already sent over those documents before, but sent them again and made sure the mortgage company received what they needed. Lauren helped get that situation resolved so I'm not paying 300 dollars more per month. She also made sure I didn't pay for the mortgage companies insurance when I shouldn't have been. Thank you Lauren!

Although they seem helpful and kind it took a week of back and forth calling because my emails weren't answered to get auto insurance. Then, I was then charged for a full year instead of monthly like we had discussed, which ended up costing me an extra $2000. I then immediately found a better rate from a different car insurance company. All in all a terrible experience which will lead me to never trusting an insurance agent again thanks Lauren Adam's I hope someone replaces you. I wish I could put 0 stars

Called in June for a quote on home owners and car insurance policies. Provided Lauren all my information and was assured I would receive a call back. 3 weeks later, I follow up requesting the information. Lauren confirmed she had all my information but wasn't sure what happened. Assured again that she would be in contact shortly. I called back later that day to which she said she was the only one in the office and did not have time to complete my quote. I have not received any follow up since. If this is the service provided just trying to get a quote, I'd guess I dodged a bullet; imagine trying to process a claim of any type!

Our daughter was in a car accident during winter so we reached out to our agent right away, after hours I might add (who is better than Jake from the other agency 😉). He gave us great advice and told us to call the office in the morning. We were assigned to Chip, who was totally amazing and compassionate, explaining each step we would need to take. We were contacted right away from both the medical and auto adjusters. They were both so understanding and explained everything. Then we were contacted by another agent who was following up and wanted to make sure our daughter was ok. What a GREAT group of people providing EXCELLENT customer service.
