Bought a truck from Nick. Besides doing transmission work , they sell lots of late model, used trucks that they buy from insurance companies. They repair and sell them at a huge discount off retail and they are like new when you get one. I saved $15,000 off retail on a fully loaded F-150 Lariat with only 16,000 miles. I have had zero issues with the truck. Service is great, very honest mechanics who stand behind their work.

Had transmission rebuilt, after the warranty had passed, the transmission failed. it was 2000.00, the first time, then I had to pay another 2k. the transmission fail inside of warrenty. This time it was on them, they came and hooked the car, and it sat for almost 7 weeks. why should that be, only reason is because they wouldn't make money on the rebuild. That is just bad business ethics.

"There is no need for an appointment," I was told when I called.

They were very professional and appeared to be very honest. The office waiting room decor was patriotic, accompanied by inspirational quotes and Bible verses.

They tested my vehicle, gave me an idea of what could be wrong, explained what they'd do to fix it, and quoted me a price.

When I asked for a written quote, it differed from the audible quote...

This shop is no longer reputable. The owner Nick is rude to talk to. They broke his truck and then happily over charged Jon Knoester to "fix" his truck. Unless you want to burn your hard earned money, go to a different shop. In Nicks words "I have been doing this my entire life"

Jon Knoester tried to allow them to make it right, he even went back and gave them a second chance. Say goodbye to $5k

I had my 2011 Ford F150 looked at here. The issue was my 4×4 would not engage. They told me my transfer case needed to be replaced. They quoted me 1500$ for a used one, not a new one. I took it to another shop and they told me the IWE's (Independent Wheel Ends) need to be replaced and that the transfer case was fine and didn't need to be replaced. 445$ was the total bill to get my 4x4 working again. 1000$ cheaper and repaired and diagnosed correctly. Did they try to swindle me with a used transfer case and would never replace the transfer case? Just replace the IWEs, who knows but I'm really glad I got a second opinion. That is the reason I usually do my own work on my cars when I can. You never know who is really an honest mechanic. I think I found one and it isn't Hudsonville transmission!

Have had nick do multiple tranny work for me over the years. I have had problems needing rework on a couple vehicles, never reviewed on those. But i just had a jeep that he replaced the nss 1-1/2 yrs ago and is out again. I would recommend going somewhere else. Also, last time i had a problem with his work, he said that hes done with me. Even though the warranty on his work was not up. Time to look for a compenant shop.
