I’ve been a member for over 10 years and never have had a bad experience until visiting this branch. Every staff member is rude, snarky, and look like they’d rather be at home. It’s very uncomfortable to be there. The manager, Lauren, is not helpful either.

I have been with lake trust for 15 years. Branches are amazing. Calling customer service on the phone the worst... spent an hr on the phone to dispute the atm not taking money out of my account. Then they hung up on me. So i had to call back and start over 45 mins later they tell me 10 business days. Not an acceptable answer.... your system messed up now i have no access to my money.... absolutely ridiculous.. and i should not be talking to india for customer service... i should be talking to someone at the branch... you can do better i am thinking about leaving the bank because this isn't the first time....

Have been members for over 10 years and am seriously considering leaving because customer service is getting more and more dismal. The branch employees are wonderful to work with. However, drive through service has always been excruciatingly slow. 10+ minutes even when no one is in line. Used to look past this because of the convenience of a smaller institution, but it’s beginning to operate like a large bank. You can no longer call your branch directly. The phone call centers always have tremendous wait times so I usually just hang up and have to drive up to the branch anyway. The few times I’ve used the phone operators I’ve regretted it because they don’t seem very knowledgeable. First, a loan officer through the phone seemed to operate off of completely different information than the one I went to at the bank. This made closing my car repair loan a confusing headache—I had to leave work early to prevent my loan from falling through. Another time the video ATM froze in the middle of my transaction. I was on hold for over 30 minutes with my card stuck in the machine. The phone operator insisted that it “couldn’t happen” and kept me on hold while they talked to other departments, then they couldn’t even locate the teller machine I was at to have tech reboot the machine remotely. Every interaction becomes more and more frustrating as they “modernize” and move towards a large bank model.

The staff of Lake Trust are so kind and helpful! Even though there are banks that offer slightly higher rates for savings accounts, I will not transfer because Lake Trust is so helpful. Thank you especially to Danielle at the Brighton branch--she is a gem.

I usually don't make reviews but this bank is pretty good. Really I just wanted to say the service is kinda bad at most the Howell locations but I just for off the phone with a nice man named Noah. Lake Trust you need to appreciate this man he even took the time to call me back and give me updates about my account today when I needed help. He did not have to do that but I appreciate it cause I'm trying to move right now and things are urgent. Thank you Noah I hope you get a raise ❤

I’m not a member of this particular credit union, but I use the drive thru ATM on a regular basis due to the convenient location. I like that it lets me choose the denominations of my withdrawals. It’s also very easy to get into and out of the parking lot, which is something I take into consideration for many places.
