I wouldn’t normally leave a negative review but you’d have better luck contacting Father Christmas than laser credit Union! I’ve saved with these for well over a year now, with a standing order set up every 4 weeks with X amount going into the Christmas saver and the rest keeping in my members shares, multiple times I’ve had issue where laser hasn’t moved the money over to the Christmas saver as requested right from the start! It can be months until I contact them (if I can) and they’ll rectify it by moving money from member shares to Christmas, again I’ve had another issue where 3 payments are missing! Recently withdrew my members shares for my holiday as that what I was saving for, unbeknownst to us that £300 of that was meant to be in my Christmas savings which I didn’t know until we came home and had already withdrew (with a fee) and changed to €, it is absolutely ridiculous now! It’s not my job to move it over this is what the standing order was for I’m fed up of it, now I’m £300 short on my Christmas saver with no way of rectifying it! Honestly, there’s no point in being with them as they don’t do what’s been asked to do you constantly have to chase for answers and they never answer the phone!!

Caused me to take out debts when they wouldn't let me access my funds for over a week because they had a 'crisis' and then refused to help me with a loan to pay back those debts and pay a lower interest rate with them. Thanks laser. You put me into debt ? won't be back and don't recommend. If they cause you financial problems with their problems, they won't help rectify their mistake.
Wouldnt have gotten into debt if I hadnt been refused access to MY money.

Everyone banging on about them closing well get you facts right before slaging them of it was the
old landlord who evicted them with no notice they was not at fault it was out of there control it was the landlords fault not there's and as for people being in debt well welcome to the real world were all in debt somehow any way rant over good place pleasant staff

Avoid at all cost i use to save with this credit union till they just shut there offices with no notice not what you expect from people saving your money you can never get though to speak with anybody on the phone when you do if you have something bad to say they will just be rude and hang up do not answer to emails from customers ive found that the one in Sheffield works a lot better
