I had a disappointing experience with LEDC. After submitting my application in Dec 2023 and attending classes Jan 2023 and submitting a large amount of required documents to the counselor I was working, the counselor ended up quitting (possibly around March- April). I did not receive any notice of change of counselor. The last counselor told me I had to just wait till October to get accepted and how much.

Eventually, I called to see if there was any chance I was get a loan since in October was approaching and that’s the restart calendar year- I was informed that my application had not been submitted then got a call back and said they found it! And they were going to check if the documents were still good/ no outdated which caused significant stress and frustration. I got a call back and they told me I must restart the ENTIRE PROCESS again (right before they give out the loans/ accept applications!)

I expected a more organized and responsive process, but unfortunately, the lack of communication and accountability was disheartening.

I do not recommend this agency. I will be going proceeding with another agency! Do not waste your time unless you like to be in limbo and confusion. Thank you.
