After 3 years of banking with LOC, this location never serves a poor visit and I never have had any problems thanks to the people working here! I just refinanced my truck with them because their loan interest rates are awesome and the process was amazingly easy and quick. I started out with an online application which only took a couple minutes before I went to bed. The next morning I received a call from Ashley Palise at the loan office with a couple quick questions. By the end of the day I had an approval and an appointment to close. Forward a couple days and I met with Becky Fronek at the Howell branch to close. She was awesome to work with! Very kind and easy to communicate with while filling out the paperwork. Everything was very painless and I can honestly say I am looking forward to have accounts at LOC.

Highly recommend LOC CU for a HELOC. Seamless process and great rate compared to other banks. Crystal (Wietecha) Thoman has handled several loans for me and is great! Very responsive and answers any questions I have.

My sister & I have POAs of our parents. Both have dementia & are going into a nursing facility in the next week. We are in the process of selling their vehicle. The loan has been paid off for years but on the title it says their is a LOC lein on the vehicle The credit union has acknowledged there is no loan but will not send me an email stating the vehicle has been paid off. They said my parents have to request it & then they will email the document to them. My parents have Alzheimer's, it's very likely they even know their email address. I explained all this to the LOC but it didn't make any difference. The woman I spoke with was rude and unrelenting. Said their lawyers had to approve me requesting the paperwork simply stating there is no lien on the vehicle. We can't sell the vehicle until we get this paperwork. It shouldn't be this complicated to simply get a simple document stating the car has been paid off. 6 months ago when closing their LOC account, even with the Power of attorney paperwork they wouldn't let us do that either. We had to get letters from their doctors confirming they were unable to make financial or medical decisions. LOC is awful to deal with, making things harder than it should be. Alzheimer's is hard enough to deal with on its own. Don't need this hassle on top of it
