I opened a loan last year at my HVAC contractor the suggestion to spread the payments out over a year as I needed to upgrade my existing furnace and AC. Of course I needed it right in the middle of summer. I selected a new high efficiency furnace and dual fuel heat pump. The heat pump is great addition because it can heat and cool my home while still having a gas furnace for the really cold days we can get. The best part is the heat pump is very quiet. Michigan Saves made the financing process very simple. The application was quick and easy to complete online. An instant decision was provided and the enrollment with the credit union was uncomplicated. Everything was done over the phone and with e documents. Don’t waste your time. Very good to excellent credit. 760-800+ Applied for loan and was told that my debt to income was too high. Not true at all only asked for a couple pay stubs if they would have asked for other verification and w2s I would have submitted it. I thought the paystubs were just for proof of employment. Went to my personal bank with zero issues.

I will never use THEASE people again no matter the deal they offer , I got a toasted motherboard for my efforts lucky me it's under warranty it still coasting me $285+ laybor , so think twice before getting a new central aire unit through them , .
If I didn't have a warranty it would cost $800 for a new motherboard ,
Michigan Saves was not the problem it was the financer financial backer of the company that did the installation I have to get the name of the company

You should think twice before you use this program because there is no accountability for bad craftsmanship and these reviews are filtered and I spoke to a representative from Michigan Saves back when I went through the program in 2022 and expressed the bad craftsmanship and blatant disrespect I endured with Avalon and she listened but basically said you still have to pay them for the work they did and as of this day I'm still having issues with my roof and to keep this short my roof has a buckle in the valley that comes and goes depending on the weather and Avalon is claiming it's due to the framing of my house and the warranty company Is stating that they can't approved any work to be done where the buckle is located in the valley because Avalon did not use there drip barrier product on the house so even though I paid for a Silver warranty it's now becoming apparent that it's useless so that's something else you need to take into consideration..if you do go with this company make sure you have them put in writing the brand of every layer of product that they are using on your house so that you don't get scammed out of your money for paying for a warranty that will not help you down the road and it's disheartening that Avalon takes advantage of people this way and once you sign the contract everything changes and the communication is terrible, and dont get the gutter screen thats a joke to because no one has reached out to me or offered to come out and clean them and Ive been treated rudely by management team more than once which makes it very uncomfortable knowing that if I do need to make a warranty claim that could possibly be addressed that they will send Avalon back out and I tried to post pictures on here and couldn't but I'm making this post so that no one else endures the stress and blatant disrespect that I did.
