Today on Saturday March 22nd I went to the Lake Orion branch. I've been a member for about 13 years. Over the time the branch has changed hands a few times. Ushering in new personalities that honestly don't fit the hometown spirit that that place once held. Today a teller by the name of Deb decided to ignore me until I had to push the call button twice to get her attention and when I did her salutation was" yeah?"
That's how she decided to greet a customer. This is what this place has become. Now I don't know if she was racist, or just unprofessional, and bad at her job but that was the way she thought to greet a customer. I am almost for sure nothing will be done except for I will be moving my account to another institution.This is exactly why I stopped coming into the lobby of the bank in the first place. Something has to be done. We shouldn't be mistreated. We shouldn't be treated as if we're infringing on someone's time. You have to do better.

Opened checking account it takes them two weeks to get a card mailed out to you. The rookie that did my paperwork didn’t have me sign all the paperwork. I didn’t find that out until I went back to the branch using the drive through service. They could have called instead of just waiting for me to show back up. Then instead of taking the note off my account that I signed all the paperwork that was needed they left it which caused them to never send me out my card. Now I am going to be waiting additional two weeks which means it will be 4 weeks before I get a card. All I got each time was we apologize, that’s not enough. Waiting for 4 weeks for a card is not acceptable.

Last night your 24 hr banking machine took my card. There was absolutely no reason for this and I am very upset. I needed to deposit 2 checks, as I needed them in there right away. I am always at work when you are open. That's why I have a debit card and have direct deposit, the two checks were for my Bday, other wise I usually wouldn't use that machine, your credit union is not close to my home and I'm going to have to miss time at work to take care of this mess, otherwise I will have no way to access my money when it is deposited Friday. This was very upsetting and I think I should be compensated for my time and aggravation, not to mention lost wages and my boss needing me at work.

I came to this credit union, as I have many times before, to use the ATM as it is in the “partner network” of my primary credit union which does not have a location nearby. This time, for the first time, I was making a cash deposit rather than a withdrawal. The ATM sent out an envelope and I put the money in it and had to fill out 6 places where information was required. Just as I turned to put the envelope in the ATM, I saw it was “eating” my card. I got no warning that it was ready to time out and now here I am with no ATM card and my needed deposit was not accepted. I was and am so upset. I know it’s no loss to this credit union but still bad customer service when Michigan United has agreed to be in the partner credit union network.

I went to this branch for the first time to make an urgent transaction that needed to be made in person. I had some reservation due to the the poor reviews but I didn't have time to drive to another branch. I am happy to have walked in this branch despite my reservation. Carmie and her colleagues were kind with their time and attention to complete my transaction on time. Their colleague Heather followed up with an email confirmation of the transaction which facilitated my follow up with the other bank.

I rarely make transactions in person but am glad to know I can visit this branch for in person transactions.

Been a member for Over 50 years and an out of state member since 1982. I deal with the employees on the phone. With all the new changes, I want to Thank Jamie for her patience this morning. She agreed to call me back concerning fees for a dormant account, called within 5 minutes.
The rules have changed over the years from the Pontiac Telephone Employees Credit Union to now but I have always received excellent service from kind and considerate employees.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Terrible service. You get charged for everything even after asking to be removed from a service. Ever since they joined Birmingham Bloomfield my debut card has had fraudulent charges. They don’t care enough to even help. And when I asked to stop taking money from my savings and putting it into my checking and CHARGING me they told me they can’t do that. If there’s money in my account they will automatically transfer it and charge me. Now when my account is fraudulently charged it won’t be declined and the charges just keep continuing. They don’t care for their “members” they just care about money. And don’t expect to get a response from them either. Save yourself and bank somewhere else.

This Credit Union used to be good but now going down hill. I don't know what changed but the system's have bugs and are outdated. Quite a few times I tried to make a payment on my credit card with this credit union and the payment system showed "Processed" then after a whole week would go by the payment would get returned, even thought it still shows processed. I think these kind of bugs in the software should be fixed quickly, you're dealing with customers credit score here. Also it takes sometimes up to 2 days to transfer money between checking and savings account, I don't think I know another credit union where it takes this much time to transfer money within the same system.
