Exceptional service by Dan at the Hurley Branch. Saturday, during my bank transaction, he asked me if I would be interested in a quote from True Stage Insurance. I was impressed since I had just opened my insurance bill and saw that the premium doubled. He took my name and number. Tonight, Thursday, at the Kingston Branch, he asked me if they had contacted me. Unfortunately, True Stage, did not. He told me he would follow up to see what had happened. I was cashing a check and not even thinking about the insurance. He follows up on the Banking Members. Thank you Dan.

We went to the credit union late in the afternoon on a Friday and she was so patient and understanding with our many questions.
She showed that all business transactions need not be cold and impersonal.

Mrs. Theresa at the main desk is always SO helpful and kind. She especially goes out of her way to help and does it with a smile and kind voice. This has been my bank my entire adulthood and I have never seen her on/have a bad day. She is a ray of sunshine who makes all feel welcome!

I recently applied for a used car loan through them as their rate was very good. I was helped by Adam Shapiro and Logan. Both were very helpful and made this process almost seamless. Adam was very patient and answered every question with information that was so helpful. Logan handled all the financial details, again with courtesy and a sense that you mattered. I have had good experiences with MHVFCU before and this was no exception.

The Morton Blvd location is the only branch full of professionals.
Every other branch I've been to in Kingston/Port Ewen, the tellers are rude, dismissive and unprofessional (I dnt see them act that way with people who look like them ?but then again, upstate is like down south lol).
My only issue is that the teller services (deposits, etc) via the atm machines in the lobby were discontinued.

It was a very convenient service and it was accessible before the credit union opens at NINE am.
I guess they're trying to drive more traffic inside but, it's an inconvenience and much slower imo.

By the way, Teller #162 should be properly trained that when a customer hands him something, he should hand it right back rather than placing it on the counter beside the customers open hand.
That's that odd behavior I've experienced at the other branches.
It's unfriendly and rude.
