My dad banked with northwest community credit union for decades. Upon his death they immediately closed his bank accounts, used his money to pay off his NWCC credit card. By closing his account they took away all his rewards that he accrued on his credit card and would not use them to offset his credit card balance or allow to be redeemable. This is poor business. The other credit card companies he worked with allowed us to use his rewards to help pay down his balance. Very unfortunate to deny someone the rewards they’ve earned.

Bank merged and haven't been able to access my money for 4 days. I'm thinking about dropping them. Very unreliable and crappy customer service.

The absolute worst company to deal with if you change your auto insurance policy on one of their vehicle loans. It has been more than 3 months of giving them the new policy information to include their 3rd party insurance company that they auto-charge you for not updating their system to your new insurance policy. Not to mention all of this messes up the auto-payment schedule and then they think you are behind on your payments of which they don’t tell you until they threaten repossession. Never again will I do business with them for anything.

Now we are up to 6 months and still they can’t get it straight or get my payments back onto their auto-pay like they were before. Customer Service Rep Santiago is rude, dismissive, and likes to make snide remarks under the guise of trying to “help” you. When I asked to speak to his leadership or complaint department “there is no complaint department and there is no leadership in today”. I am calling you out on your poor customer service.

These fools never answer the phone. I've been trying to get through for 3 days, no call back!! Super frustrating. Glad I'm a priority. Not! Unhappy that I cannot talk to a human at this credit union!.

Worst company I have ever delt with. If they can find a loop whole to charge you a fee or take your money they will. We have been with them for over 10 yrs and I've seen the whole company go downhill drastically. If you can help it. DONT BANK HERE!

Been with this bank for almost 20 years my grandpa went through NWCCU back when it was a loggers bank. This bank has gone so far diwnhill not about their members what so ever, nsf fees overdraft fees have gone up in the last few years, have been closing members accounts with no reasoning just state”this is a high risk account” save yourself the trouble this bank is awful go to SOCU

We went into the branch to open an account and invest in CDs. We were told they do a hard credit pull which we don’t want to do because we are applying for a construction loan elsewhere. A hard credit pull stays on your credit report for two years and it makes us look like we’re seeking credit which we are not. I called back to ask them to erase our Social Security numbers from their system and I was told they were “safe”. We did not even complete the application. Our current bank just had a security breach so information is never safe. It is outrageous that they would do a hard credit pull on us when we only wanted to be members and invest in CDs. They should be proving to us that they are worthy of our money not the other way around. I see why this credit union only has a 2.9 rating. We are going elsewhere. On point does not do a credit pull to become members and open accounts only if you do a loan. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
