I've been a member at PFCU since they opened their Ionia office 30 years ago. I do 99% of my banking online. This weekend I tried to look at my account and a disclosure popped up. I declined to accept it and it locked me out of my account! I called and asked for online access to my account and was told I could have it by agreeing to the new terms. I told them no, then was told no agreement, no access!! I asked for the CU president. I was put into her voice mail. She called back and said the disclosure was put out early by mistake. She said a CU techie would call and get me access. He said the same thing. It was early but I needed to agree to access OUR FUNDS!! I again disagreed and was told no access then. This is our money!! OURS!! And they are keeping me from it. One man told me it's the same disclosure I agreed to when I signed up for online banking. Well if it's the same, why am I REQUIRED to agree again? Probably because it's NOT THE SAME!! So I told them that I don't ever leave my account low enough to "bounce" purchases. Then I told them that without access, I can't transfer funds should I need to and that because of that, PFCU will be held accountable for any overdraft fees. It's almost like my funds have been kidnapped and I have to pay a "ransom" to get them back!! PFCU has gone downhill these last few years. I see their ads on TV all the time now. They must be using the "hostages" to pay for ads.

April Green helped me with an urgent need of a vehicle loan as mine was totaled and I needed one immediately. April was SO helpful and I enjoyed working with her very much! She was fun, quick, smart, and always kind. I loved PFCU before, but man, after this recent experience, I have never been more content in where I bank. Thank you, April!

If you are someone who has hardships DO NOT get a loan from them they are not at all understanding and are rude about it they will happily take away your vehicle or whatever. They do not care if you’re struggling please if you are worried about any hardships you may have do not work with them all they care about is their money they wouldn’t care if you starve yourself to pay them

After banking here for 20 years the staff started treating me differently since the begining of the pandemic. I was harassed at the drive through everytime asking for my ID and making me wait 20 minutes because it wouldn't read. I never needed my ID to make a deposit for close 20 years and don't get me started on the times I wanted to retrieve my money from the bank and I needed to provide a letter or advanced notice up to 2 days. I'm much happier at consumers credit union. It's definitely upsetting because up until the pandemic I loved the institution and felt appreciated.

I applied on line, got a call within and hour and was approved. Stopped at the Credit Union with the information necessary and walked out with the funds 45 minutes later. It was so easy and everyone I dealt with were extremely nice and happy to help. Give them a try next time you need a loan. You won't regret it.

We have banked with PFCU for a long time, but dealing with Emily and Cecilia for an auto loan was beyond easy. They both went above and beyond making sure I understood the entire process. They both were there as soon as I needed them for any reason!
