I have never been so humiliated in my life. I went to this branch (used as a service center ) to make a cash deposit in my account. Darcey called my credit union and lied! She told my credit union that I was belligerent and refused to remove my hat. Also, she informed them to let me know I was banned from their credit union. You can clearly see my hat on the counter which is not a baseball cap noted on their sign. It is winter here in Michigan. I stood there humiliated as others snickered.

Why are your tellers at this location showing signs of discrimination. On yesterday 2/25/25 my cousin (Jolanda Price) was at your location to make a simple deposit and was asked to remove her fashionable hat, that women wear not a hat with a brim. It was pulled back where you could literally see her face glasses on. There was nothing binding where you could not identify who she was along with her ID. Now, if this is the policy of this particular credit union, then why was a gentleman next to her not asked to take his hoodie off, which covered his entire head and forehead Now today 2/26/25 she received a call from her credit union MSU stating she is banned from your credit union location in Kalamazoo. She was not belligerent. She was not disrespectful. “She did remove her hat.”So why would they single out of this black woman is what I’m seeing and now saying that she can no longer come back to the kalamazoo location if she was belligerent or disrespectful causing a scene, like I mentioned before why didn’t the teller call the police? Why didn’t she ask her to leave? why didn’t she ask her to go through the drive-through? Why didn’t she refuse to take her Deposit? Even the manager was disrespectful this cannot be tolerated no longer are we going to sit and let people walk over us like previously and do nothing. This will be handle!!!!!!

Deana Monica and Darci are amazing Super helpful and super wonderful. I can’t thank them enough for helping me open my account today. The tellers are absolutely amazing here at the Westnedge location in Kalamazoo,, Absolute beautiful service and personal relationships built !! You Guys got to fix your overdraft charges,, and reversal fee charges, $30 is a lot of money, especially when there is no money In the account you’re charging..
