I don’t know where to begin, so I guess I’ll start with, when I opened the account. In the summer of 2023, I was approved for a loan on my Equinox. Fast forward to the fall, so not even half a year later. I was in a very unfortunate accident, one that could’ve cause me my life. I woke up in the hospital not knowing where I was, how I got there, or what happened. After coming to and being transferred to my room I ask to call my family. The nurse went to get the hospital phone, as she handed me the phone she asked if I knew why I was there or what happened. Not knowing what was going on I just knew I had to call my family. Before I was able to she informed me that, I had been hit by a pick-up truck and was dragged about 40ft. Fortunately enough I was blessed and was able to make a well timed recovery. After spending almost two months in the hospital and have to weather several surgeries, I was able to go home. Two and half month after that, I was able to return back to work. During the time I was not able to work, I was only receiving 65% of what I was normally paid. Needless to say my bills fell behind, some even more than what they were before the accident. Fast forward through a hard year and some months, I’m still recovering financially and physically. Even though the journey has been rough I have not been going through it alone. Jenna, the representative who has been overseeing my account; has been dealing with me and my unfortunate event from the start. Staying in communication as much as possible I would let Jenna know of any changes and she would help me solve it. Jenna has not only went above and beyond for me, she has done it several times after. From helping me budget my bills off the 65% I was receiving for pay, or helping me to stay positive through it all and being a caring voice to a complete stranger, or even most recent events in helping to prevent me from a repossession, or informing me of a warranty I didn’t even know I had. When I say I was blessed I meant it. I’ve always been the kind of person to pour out nothing but kindness and joy to others, not ever expecting anything in return. So it’s rare for me to be on the receiving end of it all.

I could go on and on about how great Jenna has been to me over the past year. Never changing her attitude towards me, giving nothing but her all. Pulling out every tool she could possibly use, just being genuinely helpful and caring. You can tell the difference because she gets paid to handle things like this. It’s her job, however you as a person gets to choose and decide how to handle the situation. Yes it’s a job but she did not have to help me the way she has been. Regardless of what happens to me she would still be employed, and it would be out of her hands. Instead she chooses to help, she chose to give me the budgeting tips, she chose to help set up a payment plans and if I missed it she helped me through it. She chose to go to her supervisor and see if there was anything left she could do. These are things she chose to do on her own good well and I just can’t begin to thank her for what she has done. It may be a job to others, but when you choose to do things like this it’s becomes more than just a job. I am overwhelmed with so much gratitude and am just so thankful that Jenna was the one who has been helping me through. I know I’m the first and I’m sure I won’t be the last. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can’t imagine how all of this would have turned out without the help of such a caring and kind person. I can honestly say that having Jenna as one of the reps at the bank will for sure keep me as a long lasting member. I will forever be grateful! Jenna is amazing. Jenna you rock! Thanks again!

Been with Tru (CP Federal) for over 10 years and honestly I can't recall much issues here... Besides the one time they couldn't reimburse me when my son spent hundreds of dollars on a phone game. I do feel like they should have flagged it and kept it from happening given how much was being spent in such a short amount of time. Besides that I've always enjoyed this bank

I’ve been at this bank since I was 16. I’ve had minor issues but nothing like this. Today I will be closing my account. My debit card locked for some strange reason (I only spent around $100 before locking). I went to buy groceries and had to put them all back because my debit card was not working. The next day I called to get my card unblocked (called the mason branch) and the employee had me reset my PIN number. I went back to the grocery store and again, the card did not work and I could not buy groceries again. It was 1) embarrassing, 2) concerning, because I have a newborn baby and if this was an emergency where my child needed formula, diapers, wipes, etc. I would not have been able to buy them. And 3) It was a holiday weekend, there was no one to contact so I still have not been able to buy essential needs for my family. This was ABSOLUTELY unacceptable.

Absolutely the worse bank ive ever had done a purchase of a vehicle with. Over a month and haven’t got a releas of lein. My wife has been calling and they took it up on themselves to say she’s calling to much and that it’s our problem not theirs. I’ll be contacting the corporate office. Rachelle and the main manager from this location will be turned in.

My family and I have been with True Credit Union since I was born, 27+ years. I have grown up with a debit card and recently got a car and house through them. Every year, they would give back with a loan rebate for being a valued customer and for choosing them for a loan. This year, 2025, they canceled the rebate in a short email. They said it doesn't benefit everyone, so they got rid of it and put it toward remodels and a mobile app. They also closed my debit card without warning because I had a claim during the move from Mastercard to Visa. The claim was approved, but they never sent me a new card, so they just closed it. I am extremely disappointed with how things are working out in recent years.

After serving 38 years in prison, only on parole since April 9th, many things are very challenging and overwhelming for me to do. Team Members at the Jackson Office on Clinton Road have been so understanding and helpful to make everything so simple and easy that it blows my mind. Their kindness of humanity is something that I have not experienced since the age of consciousness (and I was born in 1961).
