Exceptional service and more than an excellent home loan expert!

My experience with UCI was a very positive one and as an expat I found UCI nothing short of outstanding.

I attribute this to my UCI home loan expert/ promoter, Mr Ricardo Catela who did an exceptional job throughout the whole process. I found Ricardo incredibly proficient and super-efficient and responsive at his job and he was always there to explain to me every single step that we were going through from the beginning until the contract was signed. I always felt supported along the way and Ricardo’s deep expertise and attention to detail were absolutely incredible which in turn ensured a seamless mortgage process which suited our needs.

Apart from the fact that he is highly knowledgeable, he went into extra lengths to patiently explain to me the rather complex property purchase process and the corresponding property taxes, which as an expat it was of huge relief to have such support.

Ricardo is truly helpful, genuine, and professional and during the entire process all went very smooth and was well communicated.

Thank you UCI and Ricardo, we are so incredibly grateful for what you have done for us.

I would highly recommend UCI and would certainly use Ricardo’s services again!

Just been in a processo of selling a property where the buyers have got a loan from UCI and the experience was terrible. UCI asked a lot of documents, documents not obliged by law and specially with no sense. A simple sale started at 10am and finished after 5pm. Do not recommend at all.

I was very surprised by the fact that the bank representative Ricardo was able to resolve all matters with me not only professionally and patiently, but also in a way that suited me in terms of time. Basically, we solved the financing in the evening and at night via whatsupp and only sent the necessary documents by email. The information about him was clear and above all truthful and patiently explained. I really did not expect this and I have never encountered such a professional and friendly attitude, especially at a bank. Thank you very much for this experience.
