I have been a lifelong customer with Chevrolet. Spent over $65000, purchasing my vehicle and maintaining it there. Over the past year, things have changed. Their service department is nothing but a bunch of crooks and criminals. They upsell you on things. You don't even need the last 2 times I went there. They said I needed all these repairs after they were done. My car still did not run right. I had to take it somewhere else when I ask them for my money back. They refused the service manager. She is a rude lady, said her family owns that store. I have never met someone. That is so rude and treats their customers. The way she did I recommend never going there if you need service on your vehicle.

I brought in my truck in because of a lifter issue. My truck has 74,000 and I have already had to have my transmission rebuilt and now have a lifter and camshaft damage. This is do to the Active Fuel Management System which is known by GM because they have already been involved in a class action suit. I got a quote to repair the truck $14,000. When I said that I was going to pick up my truck the advisor said "If I could get it to 9,10 or 11 thousand dollars, would you consider doing the repair here. Service costs should be set pricing and a customer should not have to negotiated service costs. I don't feel like this is not a good business practice. I was charged $2200 to look at it. As a comparison I was also quoted $20,000 for a rebuilt motor and $25,000 for a new motor. I am getting a new motor from GM installed for $8,000. I am really disgusted that I needed a transmission and motor at 74,000. I will not be buying any GM products moving forward.

Looking at a Chevy truck. Their internet department is fantastic. I’m dragging my feet on this purchase. Don’t need a new truck at all. “ a Chevy Avalanche Black Diamond 2013 with 73,000 miles.” I hardly ever drive it. HOWEVER, I really like the looks of the 2024 Chevy line up. I will pull the trigger on this purchase…. and it will only be with New Smyrna Beach Chevrolet.

Got a decent price on a used CX-5 and purchased the vehicle from out of state. Unfortunately, I was not warned the car had a "malfunction" light clearly indicating there was a problem. Spoke with local dealership and they informed me I have the wrong key fobs for my make and model. Car runs but until I get the correct fobs, that malfunction light will always be on. Also, the car had been owned by a smoker/vaper which I wasn't aware of as well. So, will work to keep vacuuming, replace cabin filters and wipe down interior over the months ahead in hopes of ridding the smell. The new fobs and programing will set me back at least $230...if I had gone to a dealership around $800. Also, a couple nice scratches on the right side I wasn't told about. So, make sure they are upfront with any problems.
